Ways to use Daily Blend

There are so many wonderful ways to use Daily Blend that are simple, add visual appeal and texture to your food and, most importantly, add flavour and boost the nutrient value of any dish. Toast and cracker toppings

Elevate your bread and crackers instantly with a simple sprinkle of Daily Blend. For example, sprinkle on top of:

  • Smashed avocado with sliced spring onion
  • Cream cheese or cottage cheese
  • Sautéed mushrooms with garlic and thyme
  • Nut butter with sliced banana

Dips

Sprinkle on top of any dip to instantly improve texture, flavour and nutritional value. Or simply dip quality bread (eg sourdough) in olive oil and then dip into Daily Blend. Some of our favourite dip combinations are:

  • Hummus dusted with smoked paprika and drizzled with olive oil
  • Guacamole made with smashed avocado, lime juice, spring onions and coriander
  • White bean dip (pictured) made with tinned cannellini beans smashed with roasted garlic, olive oil, seasoned and topped with chopped thyme

Eggs

Elevate your eggs to add extra protein, fibre and flavour. Works particularly well sprinkled on top of scrambled eggs, poached eggs, soft boiled eggs and omelettes. Pictured here is French toast topped with banana, greek yoghurt, maple syrup and Daily Blend.

Yoghurt & Cheese

  • Sprinkle on top of greek yoghurt or kefir, by itself or with fresh or stewed fruit. 
  • One of our favourite cheese dishes is grilled halloumi, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with Daily Blend (pictured above). You could serve this on rocket as a salad, on sourdough toast or just have it on its own.
  • Coat soft cheeses with Daily Blend to add crunch, flavour and boost nutrition. Simply roll the soft cheese (eg goats cheese, soft feta or labneh) in Daily Blend to thoroughly coat it and serve on a cheese board.

Cereals

Sprinkle on top of porridge or overnight oats and serve with nut butter, yoghurt and berries. Or use as an enhancer to other cereals (eg granola, muesli, bran, Weetbix) to boost the nutrient content. 

Salads

Daily Blend is more than just a salad topper—it truly shines on salads. Simply sprinkle it over your favourite salads for an easy boost of flavour and nutrition. Here are some of our go-to combinations:

  • Poke/Buddha/Nourish salad bowls
  • Green salads and coleslaws
  • Beetroot. goats cheese & rocket salad
  • Lentil and bean salads
  • Potato, pasta or rice salads

Soups

Enhances any soup with texture and flavour, and is visually stunning when scattered on top of a steaming bowl of soup. Try it with creamy blended soups such as pumpkin, cauliflower or mushroom.

Sweets & Desserts

Daily Blend works wonderfully with sweets and desserts and helps to reduce the glucose impact as it adds additional protein, fibre and other nutrients. 

  • Garnish a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting
  • Sprinkle on top of any kind of ice cream, custard or mousse (eg vanilla, chocolate, caramel)
  • Sprinkle on top of poached pears or baked apples served with mascarpone, custard, cream or ice cream
  • Make your own Daily Blend chocolate buttons. These are delicious and a healthy treat if you use 70% or above dark chocolate.
